Art for all

DISABLED STUDENTS' WORK ON DISPLAY

Student art is on display at Enjoy the Arts/START. Students from the Margaret B. Rost School, Hamilton County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities have created a variety of unique art pieces.

The exhibit Art Abilities features more than 20 pieces of art, including paintings, drawings, collage and mixed-media pieces.

The artists, who range in age from 6 to 18 years old, live with multiple disabilities, such as mental retardation, autism and physical, behavioral, emotional and/or developmental delays. They created their art as part of a visual art program that has been built into the nine-month curriculum at the school.

The art will be on display 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday through Sept. 17 at 1338 Main St., Over-the-Rhine.
