Some of the sweetest rides in Cincinnati can be seen at these car shows. We picked out a few of the best local cruise-ins and big-time car-culture events. And if you attend one, you're sure to get flyers under your wipers for about six others.

• Cruise-A-Palooza began April 8 at 1003 Lila Ave. in Milford. This is one of Cincinnati's best weekly cruise-ins, and this year food will be hot off the grill. $5 per car. Starts at 6:30 p.m. every Thursday. Call (513) 248-2716.

• 27th Annual Antique and Classic Car Show, April 25 on Reading Road in downtown Sharonville. This show features more than 600 antique and classic cars and draws more than 10,000 visitors. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call (513) 544-1722.

• Cincy Street Rods 34th Annual Rod Run, May 22-23 at the Butler County fairgrounds on Route 4. Saturday: cruise-in and poker run. Sunday: Rod Run show and swap meet.

• 16th Annual Hot Rod Nationals at Indianapolis Race Way Park, 10267 East U.S. 136, June 11-13. Features years of street machines, muscle cars, sports cars, trucks, rods, customs and classics and more than 1,500 swap vendors.

• Seventh Annual Good Guys Nationals, Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, July 9-12. Race cars, rods, customs and classics through 1972. Swap meet and cars for sale. Call (925) 838-9876.

• Tri-State Mustang Club's 24th Annual Mustang show, Fairfield Executive Center, July 25. WKRC-TV's John Lomax will emcee the event. Visit http://www.tristatemustang.com/.

• Hot Rod Drags, Aug. 15 at Edgewater Sports Park in Cleves. Hot rod drags, car show and swap meet.

• Pumpkin Run Nationals, Oct. 3-5, Owensville. Each year more than 3,000 people attend the event with classics, customs and antique cars.
