Number of the day: 7 (OTR clubs closed)
Red Cheetah has become the seventh nightclub in Over-the-Rhine to close this year.
Steve Ross of Indianapolis-based Sycamore Gardens Real Estate, who owns the Red Cheetah building at 1133 Sycamore St., said Tuesday that his tenants walked out on their lease last week (Oct. 10) with no notice. ...
Ross said Red Cheetah owes him about $14,000 in utility payments, plus 13 months of back rent. The club's phone number was still working Thursday evening.
Ross also owns the building at 221 E. 12th St., which was home to Purgatory until that club closed last month. A new club is scheduled to open in the space Oct. 31 and both properties remain for sale or lease, Ross said.
Um, the 13 months of rent might be considered notice.

The city of Cincinnati "leaders" (yeah right) are well known for their inability to keep and bring in new business to the city. Especialy Downtown. I'm not just talking about bars and hip, youthful business but all kinds. On the flip side, Main St was in desperate need of a complete makeover as far as the type of bars and resteraunts in that area. Gone are the days of nightclub style establishments that attract the young, hip-hop, p-didy wanna-be's. What people want are places that young professionals can go and have a drink maybe outside and listen to a good band and feel safe that some Gangsta isn't gonna "Gat" there asses and rob them for $20. This city made a huge mistake by not electing David Pepper who was very involved in changing this image that the city has.

During the endless spent in my house I have one big passion that is watching foreign channes on my satellite tv internet . I also adore to watch cartoons. I don
't dislikeonce in a while to look at the news either.
I am much sadisfied with my life and especially about my relationship with my kids. I just hope to remain in good health, so just an normal happy life.
