Hey, my high school history teacher is running for Congress! (Well, not yet - she's running for the Democratic nomination.)
I haven't seen Ms. Downey in years, but I remember her as a smart and capable teacher who actually made me do my homework. Good luck to her.

Looks like those allegations are going to stop her from being nominated.
Didn't I see her on the Smoking Gun?
Is that her maiden name? I was at Milford in 93-95ish, and I don't remember her. And her bio says she got married then or after.
I guess no one knows.
