Don't you sometimes feel that some of these young professional "do-gooders" are actually more interested in networking and/or hooking up?
They are. I know because I hit every one of these damn things. You've never seen women so desperate to hook up and guys so bent on working the scene (me too, I grudgingly admit). Some of these women get passed around like a tray of hors douvres. The great thing is that everyone is there for such superficial and self-serving reasons that you can be completely honest about why you're there. If its some benefit for the poor, I will wax on all night about how the poor should be in workhouses or forced to live in some fenced-in mandatory labor camp out in Warren County. If its some art related garbage, I'll argue all night that pornography is the purest form of art. But, hey, I'm an overconfident attractive young professional with some dough to throw around so I can get away with it.
Right on. These events are put on simply for the hooking up. I do the same thing. I never went to college, but I can talk a good game and get into the flow. These ladies are so desperate, you got to love it. Guaranteed hook-up!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THIS?!?!?!
Ahh... the desperate Cincinnati professional female, an interesting breed. All are determined to get married and start cranking out puppies before they turn 26. You see them getting recycled onto the scene later on after their marriages break up as "career women."
Question of the day:
If people like getting laid and people like getting off, why do people hate getting laid-off?
I've been going to these events for years and my slugging percentage is as good as Barry Bonds. Great place to meet women.
